Herington High School is pleased to announce that its Metal Shop has been awarded a generous grant from the Community Foundation of Dickinson County to acquire a new AC/DC welding machine.
The Community Foundation of Dickinson County has recognized the importance of supporting educational initiatives that prepare students for real-world careers. This grant, specifically earmarked for the new welding machine, will empower Herington High School to offer an enriched learning experience in metalworking.
We are grateful to the Community Foundation of Dickinson County for their commitment to education and workforce development.
HES Families: A friendly reminder that our K-5 Winter Program is coming up on Monday, December 11th at 7pm! Please make sure to mark your calendars and let all other family and friends know as well. Retake Picture Day is 12/06/2023! If you're satisfied with your child's picture, no further action is required.
If you purchased and were unhappy with your Picture Package, please send your Picture Package to school with your student on Retake Day. Your Retake Picture Package will be produced and shipped to the school four weeks after Retake Day. Please note, if your child is photographed on the original and Retake Picture Days, the Retake picture will replace the original picture in certain products, like the yearbook.
