Congratulations to Aiden Souza for signing today with Tabor College for cheer and theater. HHS is proud of your accomplishments.

Come out and help support Herington Hearts!

There will be a parent meeting Tuesday at 6pm in the cafeteria for the high school boys basketball team.

HHS FBLA officers spent the last couple days in Dallas at Leadership Workshops. They are excited to bring their ideas home to the local chapter. Those attending were: Sophia Weber, Ashley Mascareno, Tyus Becker, Mason Mortensen, Lucas Vinduska, Mallory Arnold, Aidan Thibadou and Advisor Lisa Beye.

Thank you to those who came out to Herington Elementary to enjoy FCCLA’s Family Game Night… We hope everyone enjoyed it.

The Railer Job Olympic team went to Lyons, KS on Friday. They competed in rolling silverware, assembly line, pet care, stacking boxes, folding washcloths, counting money, stocking shelves, and bussing and setting tables. We are very proud of John Thayer as he brought home a third place medal for bussing and setting tables! The students also got to enjoy a dance party before awards. The members of the team are John Thayer, Bubba Barraza, and James Feniello. Way to go boys!

HMS Basketball at Canton Galva - Monday, November 20th

Third graders visited the Herington Public Library and the Tri-County Historical Museum this week to learn the history of Herington! The kids had a great time and did an amazing job! Huge shout out to Susan Mueller and Mark Will. #LevelUpRailers

Mrs. Roth’s Kinders have been working hard at being authors and illustrators over the past couple weeks. They created a book titled When I Grow Up. Each student wrote about what they want to be when they grow up and drew and colored an illustration to show that job. Mrs. Roth then sent their manuscript off for their book to be published. They can’t wait to receive their published book in the next few weeks! #LevelUpRailers
