Go Railers!
Come cheer on the Railers tonight in the Homecoming Game vs Bennington!
Part 2: Here are some more pictures of the 4th Grade Twin Lakes Water Festival that they attended yesterday.
The fourth grade classes were invited to participate in the Twin Lakes Water Festival at Canning Creek Campground at the Council Grove Reservoir. We learned about water & natural resource conservation, changing environmental attitudes, water & technology, water protection, water science & biology, wildlife that depend on water, and food chains! This will be part 1 of the pictures.
We’ve been learning all about greater than, less than, and equal to this week in Kindergarten! Mrs. Roth’s MTSS group teamed up with partners to compare their groups of Unifix cubes. Hands-on learning makes math so much fun!
Mrs. Roth's kindergarten class had some very special guest Kindergarteners last Friday! Their grandparents joined them for donuts, a fun Pete the Cat story, and then they put their artistic skills to work with a directed drawing of Pete! Thank you to all the grandparents who were able to celebrate with us! we loved having you in our classroom and making special memories with you!
Join us tomorrow to round out homecoming week! Congratulations to our Senior candidates and attendants!

Did you know? It took 22 men one week to make the 40,000 fake flowers that made up the poppy field in the Wizard of Oz.
Only two shots—the clouds in the opening and end credits—in The Wizard of Oz were filmed outside. The rest was filmed on 65 sets constructed over six sound stages in Culver City.
Who will win tomorrow's color war? *HES Students: Wear your favorite color.*
Good Luck Lady Railers!
3,210 costumes were made for The Wizard of Oz, many of them uncomfortable and dangerous for the actors. The Scarecrow costume left semi-permanent marks on the actor's face after filming, taking months to disappear.
Join us tomorrow with your best scarecrow outfit! #NoPlaceLikeHomecoming
