The middle school staff members chose 8th grader, Riley Jackson, as the September Student of the Month. Riley participates in football, basketball, vocal, and track. Riley feels that he was chosen as the student of the month because he shows respect to both students and staff, works hard to do his best in school, he follows the school expectations of wearing his mask and practicing social distancing, has a positive, helpful and energetic attitude, and is involved in school activities. Riley is the son of Dani and Ryan Stevenson and Bryan Jackson.

A huge THANK YOU to our students, staff, and families for wearing your masks, practicing social distancing whenever possible, and sanitizing your hands often! All of these measures are helping to keep in-person schooling an option for our students. Herington schools will continue to function in the "green" for the next week. Our COVID-19 team will be monitoring conditions throughout the County, and will conduct their regular meeting next Wednesday. Stay safe everyone!
