Second graders in Mrs. Siegrist's reading group have been reading Chocolate Fever by Robert Kimmel Smith. One activity they did was to practice reading directions by making chocolate no-bake cookies. They were assisted by Mrs. Mein's Culinary Arts students. After they finished the cookies, students shared with others. #beingallwecanbe

Little Railers Preschool afternoon class toured the local Barnes Heartland Foods grocery store yesterday. The field trip was the final activity for a month long unit about Pizza. The students prepared grocery lists and bought the ingredients to make their very own "from-scratch" homemade pizzas. A huge thank you to Chris and Allisha and Barnes for making the field trip so much fun! #beingallwecanbe

The middle school staff members chose 6th grader, Isabelle Ecklund as the September Student of the Month. Isabelle participates in band, volleyball, basketball, student council, and swim team. Isabelle believes she was chosen as student of the month because she works hard in the classroom to get good grades, works well with classmates and teammates, and is kind and helpful to others. Isabelle is the daughter of Ashley and Randy Ecklund.
