Students are encouraged to wear spring colors but it is certainly not a requirement. If students can arrive between 6:30-6:45 and report to their classrooms that would be terrific (there will be no supervision available before 6:30). We will have the HES playground parking lot/doors, HES main entrance parking lot/doors, and HHS main entrance parking lot/doors opened up at 6:30. We are looking forward to another wonderful music performance from our students!
Junior English students tried their hand at baking Depression-Era recipes after finishing the Dust Bowl book, The Worst Hard Time. Two groups chose potato recipes, while another group decided to be a bit more adventurous and make Water Pie. Additionally, students made dill pickles, and all recipes had to be made as "from scratch" as possible.
