HES Families: We are starting our Herington Hearts fundraiser today! Students will be bringing home their packets with more information. Participation in this fundraiser is completely optional. Packets (and all funds raised) will need to be turned into your student's classroom teacher by Thursday, March 7th so we can work on getting the prizes ordered. The top three fundraisers from HES will have an opportunity to throw a pie in the face of an HES staff member at our March all school assembly. Thank you for your support in helping this local, Herington organization!

Three Herington High School FBLA Members have started a community service project this winter. They created a 4th and 5th grade basketball team that competes through the Junction City YMCA. They play each Saturday and Sophia Weber, Tyus Becker, and Kenzie Castleberry are the coaches. USD 487 is proud of them for taking the initiative and time to invest in these children. We hope this sparks growth in all students to strive for more!
