Last night, members of the HHS drama club were able to attend a showing of Council Grove Community Theatre’s production of “Barefoot in the Park” by Neil Simon.
Drama sponsor Mr. Hirsch plays the part of Paul and students were able to see him in action! Afterwards, there was a Q&A session. One topic talked about how theatre doesn’t have to end in HS and you don’t need a degree in it to keep performing.
“It meant so much to me for them to come! I want them to see that passion for theatre never ends and there is always possibilities. Even if you have to create them.” Mr. Hirsch said.
The students who attended gave it rave reviews and said everyone who loves theatre should attend!
If you would like to catch Mr. Hirsch on stage, final performances are this weekend. Check out the following link for more info: https://www.councilgrove.com/cgct

Packets (and all funds raised) will need to be turned into your student's classroom teacher by Thursday, March 7th so we can work on getting the prizes ordered.
