June 17th to June 20th will be the HMS girls basketball camp from 9:30 - 10:30. All returning players, graduated players and incoming players are welcome to attend to work on basic fundamentals and skills.

The HMS volleyball camp will be June 10th - 13th in the HES gym at 9:15 - 10:30 am. The camp will be for returning team members, girls who will be an HMS 6th grade student for the 24-25 school year, and any HMS girls who were not on the team last year, but would like to participate.

JOB POSTING--USD 487 is in search of someone to join our kitchen staff. Duties include food preparation, serving, and clean up of the kitchen area. This is a nine month position with an option for some additional hours during school breaks. Hourly rate is determined by experience. Hours are approximately 7:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m. with a 30 minute lunch break. Benefits: the full premium for a single health/dental insurance policy is paid for by the district. 13 days of Paid Time Off available after a 90 day probationary period. Applications are available at the District Office (19 N. Broadway). The position will be open until filled.

Senior Walk this morning at HES. Congratulations Class of 2024!











Senior Class Night is at 6:00 tonight in the HS Gym. Graduation is Sunday, May 19th at 2:00. Let's Celebrate the Class of 2024!!


HES had an assistant principal this morning! Star Haynes used her positive behavior points to earn this. Star helped out with breakfast, set-up for fifth grade promotion, and several other miscellaneous office tasks. #LevelUpRailers


There is an Archery Assistant Coach Position Open for the 2024-25 school year. If you are interested please contact lbeye@usd487.org before 3:30 Friday, May 17th. Below are requirements for the position.
Requirements: Attendance at morning practices Tuesday and Thursday as well as Archery Meets throughout the year. Some Saturday's required. Also required to have or be able to take and pass NASP Basic Archery Instructor (BAI) certification class before next school year.

Members of the senior class travelled to Eureka Springs, AR for the weekend. After a long drive, they were able to enjoy the sights and scenery of the area before cooking dinner together!
