First graders enjoyed a gorgeous day Friday when they visited Hildebrand Farms! They learned about where our milk comes from, tried three different flavors of milk, and enjoyed ice cream. #growinglearners






HES Parents: If you attended a L.I.F.E. family engagement course in the past and would like to reconnect with families and friends from your session, make plans to attend the FRIENDS FOR LIFE event from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, May 18 at Uncle Bob's Pin-Up Bowling Alley. The event is free and includes lunch (hamburger/grilled cheese, fries, drink), bowling, and prizes for families that attend. Mr. Morgan read, “The Principal From The Black Lagoon” to Mrs. Kahle’s class. Then students completed a Venn Diagram to compare Mr. Morgan to the Principal from The Black Lagoon. #growinglearners



Just a reminder for the middle school students for the Zoo field trip on Tuesday (May 14); if you didn’t sign up for a school sack lunch you will need to bring your own lunch or money to purchase food at the zoo. Also, please wear your grey Railer shirt.

High School Wheat State League has been moved to Friday, May 10th at Goessel.


Congratulations to the 7th grade girls who finished 2nd today in the Wheat State League Track Meet. 8th grade boys finished 3rd and 7th grade boys 2nd. Great job Railers!!!!

HES Families: We were fortunate enough to receive an EMC reading caravan grant for $1,000 dollars for our library. KAKE tv covered the check presentation today and plan on airing this on May 15th during their 4:00 news program. #growinglearners
