Ms. Susan Mueller came to the elementary on Tuesday to help Mrs. Mortensen show students how to make their own books. Just a few simple folds and a snip of a scissors can turn a piece of paper into a book! Each class then had the opportunity to write and/or lustrate their own story. The students were very excited to share their ideas!

Herington Elementary School Fall Parent-Teacher Conference Information

Fall Conferences: Oct 14th and 16th, 4:00-8:00pm each day
-All HES conferences will take place in the teacher’s classroom.

Please schedule a conference with your child’s clasroom teacher using SignUp Genius app. Teachers will be sending each of their students/parents a link on Monday, Oct 6th, to create this scheduled conference with SignUp Genius.

Fall Conferences: Oct 13th and 14th, 4:00-8:00pm each day
-All HMS conferences will take place in the HMS gym.
-All HHS conferences will take place in the HHS gym.

Please schedule a conference with your child’s Advisory teacher using SignUp Genius app. Teachers will be sending each of their Advisory students/parents a link on Monday, Oct 6th via email to create this scheduled conference with SignUp Genius. You will also have time to meet with any subject area teacher you would like. The first 30 min of each hour will be dedicated to scheduled Advisory conferences, and the second 30 min of each hour will be devoted to walk-up conferences with any subject area teacher you wish to meet with; these will not be scheduled.

There is a lot going on tonight at Herington Schools. Important information: MS volleyball will be played in the HS gym, HS volleyball will be played in Elementary gym, there will be one gate for volleyball at the HS Gym Entrance. If you pay admission to one you can still go to both MS and HS events. Please be sure to get a mark so you are not charged twice. Football game starts at 6:00. 8th grade Recognitions: Volleyball after A match in the Gym Football/Cheer 5:45 at the Field Good Luck Railers!
