Middle School Basketball will take pictures right after school today for the Herington Times. All players bring white uniforms for pictures.

Students in Principles of Biomedical Science students are working on calorimetry this week. We are burning various food items and then calculating how many calories are in it. We will then compare to the food label to see how close we got.

HES Families: Please join us for BINGO night this Thursday, Nov. 29! We will have a hot dog meal at 5:00 followed by BINGO. Meal is a free will donation (until the food runs out) and BINGO cards can be purchased for a $1 (multiple cards can be purchased). This will all take place in the elementary cafe now that we are hosting HMS basketball games. Lots of prizes and fun to be had!

Middle school students please remember to bring your non-perishable items for the canned food drive by Friday! We need to collect 700 items to be able to use cell phones during the chill out afternoon!
Kira Carver was entered into the "Poster Art Contest for Kansas DOT, KTA, and other safety organizations" by Ms. Matz her art teacher. Students were asked to enter artwork showing their thoughts on "Put the Brakes on Fatalities." Kira Carver's artwork was one of the winners and was presented with a new bicycle during the HMS Awards Assembly.
