Last week the Middle School students celebrated National Red Ribbon week with a variety of activities. Each day during the daily announcements facts relating to drugs, alcohol and the body were read to students. Monday and Wednesday students received a pencil and a tattoo promoting a drug and alcohol free life. Tuesday students wore sunglasses to shade out drugs and wore red on Thursday for the color of the national campaign. Also, during Mrs. Coup's language arts classes, students signed a banner to live a drug and alcohol free life! All events were sponsored by Student Council. Written by Amanda Hawkins

The Scholars Bowl team represented HHS proudly at the tournament in Bennington yesterday. Didn’t place, but all answered at least one question! They got to stop at the old fashioned soda fountain in Bennington, the Linger Longer, for shakes.
