A favorite activity in Mrs. Gutsch's third grade is MARSH-iplication. Using marshmallows, fruit loops, and toothpicks, students practice making models of equal groups. They then determine the repeated addition equation as well as the multiplication statement. This is a fun way to begin learning multiplication facts. The best part is eating the models when finished! #growinglearners

Lainey Monnington is the daughter of Trampus Monnington and Nicole and Chris Will. Lainey thinks that she was selected due to the fact that she is hard working, respectful and asks questions. Throughout high school, she has participated in FBLA, HOSA, NHS, FFA, Band and Scholar’s Bowl. Mrs. Vinduska believes that Lainey was selected because she is involved in numerous organizations, is a classroom leader and exhibits excellent character. Congratulations, Lainey!

Mr. Rogers was an assistant principal this morning. He won a drawing for positive behavior and selected the third and final assistant principal certificate. He helped “investigate” a behavior issue and completed some classroom observations. As you can see, he put Mr. Morgan to shame with his professional dress!
