Herington Middle School basketball practices will start Thursday, November 4th. Practice times will be 3:30 - 5:30.
Mr. Lingenfelser will host non-mandatory open gym for middle school students only on Monday and Tuesday of next week. Times of the open gym will be 3:30 - 4:30.

The HES library is definitely closed today! We will be contacting Iserv to get this uninvited guest taken care of. Thanks to Mr. Meyer and Mr. Davis for making HES a fun and enjoyable place for our students and staff! #backontrack

No weights tomorrow morning October 28th. Then the new zero hour morning weights schedule starting Monday November 1st will be Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. This will be like this for the remainder of the year.

The Railer Football team will travel to Washington County High School to take on the Tigers on Thursday night!

Herington NASP Archery will host its 1st Annual Winter Reindeer Classic Archery Tournament Saturday December 4, 2021 @ Herington School, Contact Mr. Fewin for Details!! Practice this week will be Tuesday, Wednesday, & Friday before & after School!

The Lady Railers are your Sub-State runner up. They dropped a tough fought 3 set match in the finals to Wabaunsee. Railer Nation is very proud of how these girls and coaches repreaented HHS and their community this year. Congratulations on a great season!

Friday-"No One Fights Alone" Pink Out Day


HES Families: Next week we will be celebrating National Red Ribbon Week. Students have the option to participate in dressing according to the theme for that day. Here are the themes:
Monday - "Follow Your Dreams - Live Drug Free" (Wear Pajamas)
Tuesday - "Count On Me To Be Drug Free" (Wear a Jersey/Shirt with a Number on it)
Wednesday - "Tip Your Hat To Being Drug Free" (Wear a Hat)
Thursday - "No Prob-llama - I'm Drugg Free" (Wear a Shirt with an Animal on it)
Friday - "Don't be Tricked, Drugs Are No Treat" (Wear Fall Colors - Orange, Black, Purple, etc.)
We will have a school wide costume parade in the HES gym at 2:30. The October All School Assembly will follow the parade and begin approximately between 2:45-3:00.
