Koryn Alexander, newly elected State FBLA Officer, and Adviser Lisa Beye attended the State FBLA Board Meeting in Lawrence Friday night and Saturday morning.

Calendar Changes:
Baseball - makeup game with Flint Hills on Monday, April 27. This game is @ Flint Hills and starts at 3:00. It is one Varsity game only.
Softball - makeup game with Flint Hills on Friday, May 1. This game is still at Herington and will start at 5:00. It is one Varsity game only.
***The HS and MS Track Meets that were cancelled yesterday will not be made up.
Congratulations to Conley Souza for signing to play basketball at Ottawa University next fall.

We will not be attending the Track Meet at Wakefield today. NO MS Practice after school.

The Council Grove Track Meet has been cancelled and will not be rescheduled.
We are still waiting on word about the MS Meet at Wakefield. We should know soon. We will post as soon as we know.
Baseball/Softball teams are still going to be played but we have changed start times. Baseball will begin at 2:00 and Softball at 3:00.
Again, watch for updated information throughout the day.

Yesterday the elementary school had their Lunch on the Lawn! We had a great turn out and it was great to see all the families here to eat with the students!

This week's activities at Herington Schools.
In preparation for prom, HHS prom attendees had the opportunity to learn a few basic dances. Participants learned the two-step, swing dance, and several popular line dances. This is the second year this has been offered and we love it -- have a blast at the Golden Gala! #RailerProud
Railer Families: If you have a child that will turn three before August 31st, 2026 and you are interested in the Little Railers Preschool Program at Herington Elementary School, please pick up a preschool application from the HES office and get that completed and submitted to HES as soon as possilble. We will work on sending out our "acceptance" and "wait list" letters sometime in the next few weeks. A completed preschool application is required for consideration of entry into Little Railers Preschool. Please call the HES office at 785-258-3234 if you have any questions.

Congratulations to Rylan for hitting her first home run of the season in the 7th inning of last night's game against Hillsboro. The senior collected three hits in four at-bats. Railer Softball takes on Flint Hills-Rosalia at home next week. Come out to support them next Thursday!
