I graduated from Shawnee Mission Northwest High School in 1994.  I went on to attended Kansas State University and graduated with Family Studies Human Services (1999).  Then went out into the workforce and worked for about three years.  I then went back to college to go on to earn my second degree in Human Ecology (2006).  

I have been teaching Family and Consumer Sciences at Herington High School since the Fall of 2006.  Currently I am the FCCLA Advisor, SIT Team, IBB, Junior Head Sponsor, and Wellness Committee. 

The Classes I teach at HHS are Parenting, Lifeskills, Career and Life Planning, Culinary Art/ Hospitality, Nutrition Wellness, Balancing Family and Life, and Fashion/Clothing.
