ACTIVITIES FOR THIS WEEK, MAY 24TH-27TH:
Wednesday, May 26th—Middle School End of the Year Awards Assembly at 10:30 am
Thursday, May 27th—Last Day of School—students dismissed at noon
Birthdays for the week of May 23rd-27th:

- Lunch break will be OUTSIDE.
2. 8th Graders—if you are interested in High School Cross Country, there is a sign-up sheet in the office.
3. 8th GRADERS—There is a sign-up sheet in the office for the TreeHuggers group at the High School. This group focuses on environmental projects—especially recycling and making the school more green. This summer we are working on a walking trail that will connect from town to the new track. If you are interested, please sign-up in the office.
4. 6th, 7th and 8th grade girls—There will be a Baby Sitting Clinic on Thursday, June 3rd and the Herington Free Fair building from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. The event is co-sponsored with American Red Cross and Girl Scouts. The cost is $15.00 for Girl Scout Members and $27.00 for Non-Girl Scout Members. Registration forms are in the office if you are interested.
5. Herington Health Clinic will be holding 3 sport physical clinics this year from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. They will be on June 9th, July 14, and August 4th. The cost of the sports physicals will be $25.
6. 6th, 7th and 8th grade girls—Summer Volleyball Camp will be held on June 14th, 15th and 16th from 9:00 to 11:00 am. There is a sign-up sheet in the office if anyone is interested.
7. 6th, 7th, and 8th grade girls—Art in the Park on Saturday, June 19th from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. The cost is $5.00 for Girl Scout Members and $12.00 for Non-Girl Scout Members. Registration forms are in the office if you are interested. Registration deadline is June 14th.
8. 6th and 7th grade girls—Summer Basketball Camp will be held on July 12-15th from noon to 2:00 pm. Forms are in the office if you are interested. The cost is $25.00 and money and forms are due by June 21st. If you have questions, please see Mr. Emig.
9. The following students need to return their spring picture packet or bring $40.00 to the Middle School Office.

8th grade—Quintin Lara, Tanner Wheeler
10. STUDENTS—We need to sell at least 3 more yearbooks to meet our order quota. Please report to the office if you are interested in purchasing a yearbook. The cost is $16.00.
11. A bracelet has been turned into the office. Please report to the office to claim it.
12. Class pictures are available in the office if anyone is interested. The cost is $5.00.
