Hello... To give you a little background about myself. I grew up in the Kansas City area and graduated from Shawnee Mission Northwest High School in 1994. I went on to attended Kansas State University and graduated with Family Studies Human Services (1999). Then went out into the workforce and worked for about three years. I then went back to college to go on to earn my second degree in Human Ecology (2006). I have been teaching Family and Consumer Sciences at Herington High School since the Fall of 2006. Currently I am the FCCLA Advisor, SIT Team, IBB, Junior Head Sponsor, and Wellness Committee, HHS Cheerleading Coach. The Classes I teach at HHS are Family Studies, Child Development, Teaching as a Career Career and Life Planning, Culinary Essentials, Nutrition Wellness, Food Science, Consumer and Personal Finance, and Fashion/Clothing.
