I am originally from Nebraska, but my family and I have lived in Herington for the past 10 years. Over my past 13 years of teaching, I have had the opportunity to teach 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders, and for the past 6 years I have taught 2nd grade. In second grade we use laptops to build technology skills, and we work extremely hard at becoming proficient readers and writers. Establishing strong math facts is also an important skill for second grade. We are extremely busy learners! Please feel free to visit our classroom at any time!
