Hello Future Third Graders

Hello to the future "G Team" !
I hope you are ready to turn the hallway corner and venture down the "big kid hallway"! Turning that corner brings a lot of big changes, but I am sure you will be ready! We have so very much to do in third grade, so be ready to be a responsible team player and a great student.
Some things to look forward to:
- cursive writing
- science fun like insects, electricity, plants, weather, magnets and more
- learning multiplication
- your first state assessments
- virtual travel "Around the World"
- Time For Kids magazines
- Native American tribes and regions
- Pioneers and Kansas
- computer skills: keyboarding, word processing, PowerPoint and more
- Study Island, Fast Facts, AR reading
- Agriculture in the Classroom
- Ticket drawings for prizes
- Many more surprises
My main motto is "Hard work brings reward" so think about what that may mean for you! I look forward to welcoming you to my team on August 17th!
