Safe Video Site Launched!
New to the USD 487 web site is a button located on the left side of many pages that links to a collection of safe videos that are recommended by teachers for their students to view. Most of these videos are from sites such as YouTube, but are hosted on our server after they have been previewed and recommended by teachers. This avoids the need for students to search extensively in the general YouTube online library of videos, thus avoiding the chance of students accessing the many inappropriate materials included there.
Teachers will add approved videos and the list will grow, so please check back. Students may be asked to visit this site to watch assigned videos for classes.
