2010 HMS Spelling Bee
Congratulations to Maria Traskowsky - 1st Place Honors
HMS 2010 Spelling Bee was held Wednesday, February 3, 2010 in the gymnasium. A written test given January 20, 2010 determined the students who participated in the local spelling bee. 8th grader Maria Traskowsky won overall. The winning word was chlorination. 6th grader Falon Kickhaefer finished 2nd.

The 2010 Dickinson County Spelling Bee will be held in the Abilene High School Auditorium, Wednesday, February 17, 2010. Registration will begin at 1:00 p.m. with the welcome and instructions at 1:20 p.m., followed by the practice round and official rounds at approximately 1:30 p.m.
