Ryan Schlesener earns SOTM

Senior Ryan Schlesener was chosen for the December Student of the Month. He is the son of Tim and Julie Schlesener. Ryan is in National Honor Society.

Student Council, Family Career Community Leaders of America Model UN, Site Council, Lions Club Recycling, Scholar's Bowl, Baseball, Herington Community Channel Television Broadcasting and is the Class of 2010 secretary.

Ryan's favorite activity is HCCTV, because he plans on persuing that in the future. Ryan's favorite class is Independent Study Broadcasting because he can do his own thing, and it's nice to get to work with different technology.

The best piece of knowledge he has learned is how to work hard and work with other people. After high school Ryan plans to attend Kansas University and major in broadcast journalism and political science.

This senior sees himself as honest, hard working, friendly and easy to communicate with. Ryan believes he was chosen for SOTM because in every class he takes he applies himself, and he gets involved in everything.
