Good News For HHS & HMS
I am extremely pleased to make the following
announcement:
The Class of 2010 received the Standard of Excellence for the
State Writing Assessment.
The Middle School received the Standard of Excellence in sixth, seventh and eighth grade reading. Also, the building received the Standard of Excellence in reading.
The Standard of Excellence was achieved by sixth and eighth grade students in mathematics. Also, the building received the Standard of Excellence in mathematics.
In addition to the Standard of Excellence Awards, we received notification last week that Herington Middle School has been awarded a Certificate of Merit from the Kansas Public Education Task Force for overall performance on the seventh grade reading assessment.
It takes an overall commitment from students, parents, teachers, and staff members working together for a common goal to accomplish these outstanding awards. CONGRATULATIONS for all your hard work!!
