Senior Kady Albrecht has been selected as the September Student
of the Month.
Kady thinks she was selected because she tries her hardest in
school and has a good attitude.
She doesn't have a favorite class because she loves all the
classes she has.
The most important lesson Kady has learned through all her years
of school is to set high standards for herself.
She describes herself as quiet, respectful and responsible.
She believes that the two people who have helped her achieve so
much are her parents because they always encourage her to the the
best she can be.
Her plans after high school are to attend Tabor College and
major in psychology.
Mrs. Kim Coover, science instructor, thinks Kady is a good
candidate for Student of the Month because "Kady doesdn't do
anything half-way; she always gives 100 percent to whatever she is
involved with. I have total confidence in her. If she says she is
going to do something, she will do it and do it well. She is also a
lot of fun to be around.
Mrs. Deb Geissert, language arts instructor, also thinks that
Kady is a great candidate.
"She's conscientious and cares about doing her best all of the
time," she said.
Other nominees for student of the month were seniors Crysta
Brockmeier, Ryan Floyd, Savanah Gaudin, Alex Gonzolas, Kylie
Kilmer, Drew Magathan, Jake Meyer, Jason Martin, Lance Shriver,
Mike Shearer and Amanda Vargason; junior Tyler Barber; sophomore
Josh Connors; and freshman Cara Meyer.
