 ACTIVITIES FOR THIS WEEK, MARCH 8TH-12TH:

                Thursday, March 11th—HMS Reading Assessment Testing

Thursday, March 11th—HMS Parent/Teacher Conferences from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the High School Gym

                Friday, March 12th—NO SCHOOL

 

ACTIVITIES FOR NEXT WEEK, MARCH 15TH-19TH:

                NO SCHOOL ALL WEEK—SPRING BREAK

 

ACTIVITIES FOR THE WEEK OF MARCH 22ND-26TH:

                Thursday, March 25th—HMS Tom Sawyer Musical at 7:00 pm at the Hilltop

 

Birthdays for the week of March 7th-20th:

                Monday, March 8th—Brent Sams

                Thursday, March 11th—Cody Smocovich

                Tuesday, March 16th—Channing Davis

                Wednesday, March 17th—Nicki Klug, Allie Klug

  1.   Lunch break will be OUTSIDE!!!!!!!!  Please take your jackets with you to lunch.

 

2.  Bells will be turned off today, March 11th for Reading Assessments. 

 

3.  STUDENTS—The class with the most parent/guardian attendance for Parent/Teacher Conferences today, March 11th will receive an Ice Cream Sundae Party for their entire class.  Tell your parents that conference will be held from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.  Good luck classes!!!!!!!  As of conferences Tuesday night, 7th grade is in 1st place—so let’s see more parents tonight.

4.  Please take your spring picture packets home to your parents.  The price list in enclosed if you are interested in purchasing the pictures.  If you are not interested in purchasing the pictures, please return the complete packet to the Middle School Office.  Money and/or picture packets are due to the Middle School Office by tomorrow, March 12th. STUDENTS—DO NOT REMOVE ANY PICTURES FROM THE PACKETS OR YOUR PARENTS WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING FOR THEM!!!!

 

5.  There is a sign-up sheet in the office for driver’s education that will be offered this summer.  You need to be 14 years of age on or before June 1st.  The cost is $135.00.  Deadline for signing up is tomorrow, March 12th.  If you have any questions, please see Mr. Berndt.

 

6.  ATTENTION All HMS ASSESSMENT TAKERS!!! 

"The assessment sure can be a WHOOPER! But not for HMS!To help ease the stress of testing, we would like to invite you to participate in our candy count.  This week is a jar of WHOOPERS!  The winning count will receive the entire jar! GOOD LUCK!  One guess per student.  Contest ends after seminar on Thursday!!  Look for more opportunities to win next week!

Teachers and Staff! There is a jar for you as well! Get your count in by Friday!

 

7.  HMS Musical participants need to be in costume at the Hilltop on Monday, March 22 at 6:15 pm in order to be in the newspaper photograph.  We will have practice that evening after the photograph until approximately 8:30 pm.  Practice is also scheduled for Tuesday, March 23rd at 6:30 pm at the Hilltop and Wednesday afternoon from 1:45 pm to 3:15 pm.

 

8.  A student is missing his 7th grade science book.  If found, please return it to the office or to Mr. Emig.
