May 6, 2008 is a date that brings many possibilities to Herington and the USD 487 schools.  Following months of study, evaluation, and planning, the Board of Education has recommended the public have an opportunity to choose the future of the Herington Schools through a bond election authorizing a construction of facilities intended to meet the district needs for the next thirty plus years.
