September’s student of the month is Missy Traskowsky. Missy is a
senior, and is extremely involved in clubs and activities. The
clubs and activities that she is involved in are Student Council,
Dance team, FCCLA, Art Club, Pep Band, Drama Club, Jazz Band, NHS,
vocal, Forensics, Seussical, and Class Vice President.
“ Missy is Hard-working, motivated, and very deserving,” says
Counselor Tammie Svitak.
Missy thinks that being a good student means that you, get your
work done, come to school with a positive attitude, and you get
along with others. She also describes herself as, smiley,
responsible, busy, successful, and a leader. Student of
the month means to Missy, that teacher’s see that she is trying
hard, and that they are rewarding her for being a good student.
After high school Missy plans to attend Wichita State
University, and major as a Physician’s Assistant. She has always
looked up to her parents as her motivation because they encourage
her, and steer her down the right path. Ever since third grade,
Missy has told herself that she wanted to get straight A’s all the
way through school, and has succeeded for the most part in making
this dream come true.
