Sophomore Kady Albrecht has been chosen by teachers
and staff as the Student of the Month for May. Kady is the daughter
of Craig and Caryn Albrecht.
"Kady is an excellent student in Biology. Her
assignments are very creative and high quality. She is also a very
kind and polite person who treats her peers and adults with
respect. She is just a great all-around student," said Mrs. Kim
Coover, biology teacher.
Kady works hard to demonstrate the qualities of a
good student.
"I believe I was nominated because I strive for
good grades and good attendance, and I always do my best," Kady
said.
Kady's favorite class is Spanish because she enjoys
learning this foreign language. She has no favorite teachers, but
she does enjoy all of the different learning and teaching methods.
The most important things she has learned in school are to be
respectful and responsible.
In addition to classroom activities, Kady
participates in StuCo, FCCLA, band, vocal, NHS and the climate
committee for Rachel's Challenge.
In a single word, Kady describes herself as quiet.
She says she is quiet because it is easier to learn in class if she
is not talking.
Advice she gives other students to be successful in
school. is to turn work in and be to class on time.
Other nominees for the student of the month award
were: seniors Anthony Bennett, Luke Brunner, Ashley Hagan, Kristin
Kleinschmidt and Joe Stimac; juniors Elizabeth Beye, Tara Collins
and Jessica Perry; and sophomores Alex Gonzolas and Jason
Martin.
